What a great ending! It was typically a happy ever after ending, but with a lot of twists and surprises. It even made me a little teary!
Colfer picks up right where he left off. We meet Mom’s new boyfriend, Mother Goose, Rumpelstiltskin, and the Enchantress. I love how Colfer intertwines lesser known fairy tales that you know with the main fairy characters from his books. He is a very clever and knowledgeable writer. I also like how his villains are complex and come with a back story. They are not just evil to be evil, there is always a reason for their pain. I love how we enter his story with a quote from Albert Einstein,”The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything.” I so agree!
